Travel bucket list app

Your travel bucket list, on the same map as your memories

Iceland's glaciers. Patagonia. A slow week in Kyoto. YouVisited keeps your travel bucket list right next to where you've already been, so you can see your past and your plans on one world map.

How the bucket list works

  • Open any country on your travel map and tap “Add to wishlist”.
  • Wishlist countries are coloured amber; places you've visited are green; everywhere else stays neutral.
  • Add specific cities too — they show as amber pins.
  • Open “My countries” to see your full wishlist as a list alongside your visited countries.

Kept separate from where you've been

A wishlist is a list of intentions, not achievements, so YouVisited never mixes the two. Bucket-list places don't count towards your travel statistics, your percentage of the world or your achievements. When you finally go, mark the country as visited and it turns green — and you can keep it on your wishlist if you already want to return.

Ideas for your travel bucket list

Stuck for inspiration? A few ways to build a list you'll actually enjoy working through:

Fill in your continents

Your statistics show how many countries you've seen on each continent. Pick one with the biggest gap and browse its countries — start with South America or Africa if they're still blank.

Look at your neighbours

Every country page lists the countries that border it. If you loved Portugal, the next step might be a road trip across Spain.

Borrow from friends

Compare maps with friends and look at the countries only they've visited. That's a ready-made shortlist, with someone to ask for recommendations.

From wishlist to trip

When a dream becomes a plan, create a trip with dates and destinations — and invite friends to make it a shared trip. Afterwards, confirm the places you visited, add photos to your travel journal, and watch your map fill in.

Frequently asked questions

Does my bucket list count towards my travel statistics?

No. Wishlist countries and cities are kept separate from your visits and never change your country count, percentage of the world or achievements.

Can I add cities as well as countries?

Yes. You can wishlist a whole country, or specific cities within it. Wishlist cities show as amber pins on your map.

Can I keep a country on my wishlist after visiting it?

Yes. Plenty of travellers want to go back. A country can be visited and on your wishlist at the same time.

Can other people see my bucket list?

No. Your wishlist is only shown on your own map, never on your public travel profile.
